A magnificent 1-shaku (approx. 30 cm) large round plate handcrafted by the lacquerware workshop Kishikkou Tokeshi. Modeled after the organic beauty of a leaf, its elegant contours are finished in a deep, timeless "Black." The dark tones create a highly sophisticated and serene atmosphere, making it a perfect centerpiece for serving family-style dishes, entertaining guests, or displaying as an artistic interior accent.

Important Note on Fuki-Urushi Lacquerware

This product is finished using the fuki-urushi technique, a process where layers of translucent black lacquer are repeatedly applied and wiped away to accentuate the natural beauty of the wood grain beneath. Because of this natural process, the grain pattern, color depth, and texture of each piece will vary from the photos shown. Please embrace these natural variations as a hallmark of authentic, handmade woodenware.
