This piece features a striking "Silver Dots" design overlaid on a traditional fuki-urushi (wiped lacquer) finish, showcasing a perfect harmony between historic craftsmanship and modern Japanese design. Important Note on Fuki-Urushi Lacquerware

This product is finished using the fuki-urushi technique, a process where layers of translucent lacquer are repeatedly applied and wiped away to accentuate the natural beauty of the wood grain beneath. Because of this natural process, the grain pattern, color depth, and texture of each piece will vary from the photos shown. Please embrace these natural variations as a hallmark of authentic, handmade woodenware.
