This "Medium" size features a comfortable 11 cm diameter, making it the perfect, most versatile choice for everyday use—ideal for serving traditional Japanese miso soup, hot broths, rice dishes, or individual portions of side stews. Finished in a deep, timeless "Black," its elegant contours bring a dignified refinement and warm comfort to your daily dining table.
Important Note on Fuki-Urushi Lacquerware
This product is finished using the fuki-urushi technique, a process where layers of translucent black lacquer are repeatedly applied and wiped away to accentuate the natural beauty of the wood grain beneath. Because of this natural process, the grain pattern, color depth, and texture of each piece will vary from the photos shown. Please embrace these natural variations as a hallmark of authentic, handmade woodenware.
