A beautifully shaped hirawan (flat-style bowl) handcrafted by the lacquerware workshop Kishikkou Tokeshi. Finished in a rich, vibrant "Red," this bowl features a slightly wider and shallower silhouette than traditional soup bowls. Measuring approximately 15 cm in diameter, it is incredibly versatile—perfect for serving hearty soups, rice dishes, stews, or side appetizers, adding a warm and celebratory touch of elegance to your dining table.

Important Note on Fuki-Urushi Lacquerware

This product is finished using the fuki-urushi technique, a process where layers of translucent red lacquer are repeatedly applied and wiped away to accentuate the natural beauty of the wood grain beneath. Because of this natural process, the grain pattern, color depth, and texture of each piece will vary from the photos shown. Please embrace these natural variations as a hallmark of authentic, handmade woodenware.
